The objective of the workshop was the overview of the project development, the results of the project work done and the perspectives. The main part of the workshop were two lectures, one prom the president of the SACA and the other about German experiences with regenerative agriculture in farmer’s practice. There was also time dedicated to exchange expertise among participating farmers.

The professional program – the Regina project workshop was composed of field trip to regenerative farm ŽIPO in town Lenart and surrounding fields and machinery park, where participant observed practical applications of RA principles, and were also able to critically discuss about the techniques seen and about the possibilities of their implementation. Field and farm demonstrations lasted for 3 hours. After, the workshop continued by two lectures. The final act of the workshop was a lively professional discussion among the attendees:

1.)          Lecture by Mr. Burkhard Fromme (German farmer and practitioner of conservation agriculture) entitled "Regenerative agriculture, healthy soils, healthy plants, reliable yields" (the lecture will be in German, with real-time translation into Slovenian).

2.)          Presentation of the activities of the Regina project – Dr. Rok Mihelič

3.)          Opportunity for short speeches by invited guests

The workshop was very well accepted among participants, mostly farmers who were focused on the presentations from 10 am to 4 pm. The part of the workshop was filmed by the Slovene national TV show “Ljudje in zemlja” (“People and Soil”), which is the most -watched agricultural TV show in Slovenia.
